Hot Air Balloon Glo Festival Coming to Bridge City on August 8

The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 3rd Annual Hot Air Balloon Glo Festival on Saturday, August 8, from 4–10pm at the BCE & BCI School Grounds (1035 W Roundbunch Rd). Features 8 grounded balloons plus a tethered balloon for rides ($25 cash/person), a petting zoo, food trucks, live concerts, a kidzone, and vendor booths. Admission is $10; kids under 6 free. Shangri La Botanical Gardens invites families to "Wild & Free," a hands-on program inspired by outdoor adventure for kids ages 2–8. Families will explore movement, creativity, and connection to nature through open-ended experiences that encourage curiosity and imagination.
