Orange Fire Department Hosting Open House October 5
The Orange Fire Department is opening its doors to the community for a fun, free family event! The Open House is set for Monday, October 5 from 5–7 p.m. at Central Fire Station, 501 N. 7th Street, Orange. Come meet the firefighters, tour the station and fire trucks, and enjoy face painting, crafts, a bounce house, an agility course, a fire hose station, door prizes, and food for the whole family. One Week Left to See "The Color Orange" at Stark Museum
There's only one week left to experience one of the Stark Museum of Art's most vibrant exhibitions! "The Color Orange" — featuring works from the 1500s to the 2000s spanning European, American, and American Indian art — closes Saturday, October 3. Seven immersive, interactive experiences let visitors explore color in unexpected ways: opening Pantone-inspired doors, watching orange paint glow under blacklight, discovering hidden images through colored filters, and viewing art through a color vision-deficient lens. Hundreds of students and community members have already left their mark on this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
