Lion Elastomers Facilities in Orange and Port Neches Cited for Air Pollution Violations

Lion Elastomers has paid state penalties at both its Orange and Port Neches plants after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) found air pollution violations at the facilities. The fines follow TCEQ enforcement actions that identified unauthorized emissions and other compliance failures at both locations. Lion Elastomers operates rubber manufacturing plants in Southeast Texas and has faced multiple TCEQ enforcement actions in recent years. Residents with environmental concerns can monitor air quality and enforcement activity through the TCEQ’s online database at tceq.texas.gov.
