Insane Chicken Says Goodbye — But a Delicious New Chapter Is Coming
After winning over Orange County with their fried chicken, Insane Chicken has been acquired by a Louisiana-based catering group looking to expand into the Texas market. Friday, October 30th was their last day of operation in their current form. The new company plans to reopen the location in the coming weeks as a plate lunch and catering business — and the Insane Chicken team says the food is worth getting excited about. The one thing that’s staying? Insane Sausages packaged products will continue to be carried in the coolers and freezers as long as customers keep showing their support. It’s bittersweet news, but a new Orange County food story is just beginning.

The City of Pinehurst recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting for Mattress By Appointment, a small, family-owned business bringing luxury mattresses at 50–80% off retail to the area.
